Our Approach
Our Vision and driving force is to see lives changed by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to make a difference in the lives of people who are looking for peace, love and acceptance. We want to share the love of God that provided a way of salvation for all of us. We do that through our “Grace Outreach Ministy. It is not about us, it is about Christ and Him Crucified , Risen and Coming again.
Our Story
Our church began as a new church plant when our Pastor and his family came in 1998 to start our church under the watch care of the North American Ministries of the National Association of Free Will Baptists and the Virginia State FWB Mission Board. We started in the Keister Elementary School with “Get Aquainted” Services with 16 people and then God blessed us with a “Storefront” building at 611 West Market Street where we built our congregation until we were able to build our present Church building in 2011. Through the years we have learned about the passionate calling that our pastor felt when he drove through Harrisonburg and God stirred his heart to build a church here. His passion has ignited a passion in our church members to reach the people of Harrisonburg City and the surrounding Rockingham County as well as neighboring Augusta, Shenandoah and Page Counties. Josh Collins
Josh is our Praise Team Leader. He sings lead vocals and plays several instruments as he leads us through worship. He is a Pilot and an Aviation Mechanic and loves to enjoy the creation of God. Come and be blessed by his singing and playing music for the Glory of our Savior.
Cindy Bolin
Cindy is our Children’s Church Director and she loves teaching and sharing the love of Christ with our children. Cindy is retired and works hard to help our church in so many ways. Cindy is not only our Director, she also teaches in our Sunday Bible Studies and our Children’s worship.
Patty Collins
Patty is our Bible Study and Educational Director. Patty is diligent to make sure each teacher and worker has what they need to teach and influence our people to love the Lord and grow in His grace. Patty is a Computer Tech for Rockingham County Schools.
